The biggest lessons I’ve learned on my 120lb weight loss journey.

My diet and weight loss journey began back in 2013 with a goal of losing enough weight to be able to help my mother who had been diagnosed with cancer. Since that time I have tried many diets before arriving at the ketogenic diet as the solution to my health and weight loss goals.

It’s very important that you get enough sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium while on a ketogenic diet. If you do not get the proper amount of electrolytes you could get something called the keto flu.

Trying a diet of only calorie restriction is doomed to fail from the start. The research regarding this is overwhelming. Yet medical professionals continue to tell people to just eat less and move more.
